Meeting Notice

Be advised that the Town Council of the Town of Wilkesboro has been invited to attend a Special Called Meeting of the Wilkes County Board of  Commissioners on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at 4:00 P.M. in the Commissioners Meeting Room at the Wilkes County Office Building, located at 110  North Street, Wilkesboro, NC 28697. The purpose of this meeting was announced to compIy with the requirement of the Memorandum of Agreement between the State of North Carolina and Local Governments on proceeds reiating to the settlement of Opioid Litigation for an annual meeting in order to receive input as to purposed uses of the Opioid Settlement Funds and to encourage collaboration from the Town of North Wilkesboro, Town of Ronda and Town of Wilkesboro. This Special Called Meeting is open to the public.

Expectations are that a quorum of Wilkesboro Town Council will be in attendance.
